New board appointments at Cadogan Holidays
Head of product and commercial Doug Mathieson and financial controller David Sheate have been made board directors at Cadogan Holidays.
Managing director of the luxury tour operator Tom Allen said: “Their knowledge and expertise will be key in moving the company forward and making the Cadogan brand stand out in an increasingly competitive market.â€
Mathieson, who joined the company two years ago, previously ran specialist French operator Direct Travel and helped co-found the Association of British Tour Operators to France.
Sheate joined Cadogan in April and was formerly UK finance director at TQ3UK Travel Solutions until its takeover by BCD Travel.
He is responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans for expansion – both organically and through acquisitions. As well as overseeing all aspects of finance, and management information, Sheate also has responsibility for IT.
“We intend to ensure that we are in a position to provide our product by whatever means our customers and agents want to book in the future. We will be at the cutting edge of distribution in the coming years as we grow and develop our business,†he said.
