New chair takes the helm at CruiseBritain
CruiseBritain has announced a new chair to take over from Daren Taylor.
Angie Redhead, cruise & operations manager at Liverpool Cruise Terminal, has taken office for a three-year tenure at the association for British ports and services
Daren Taylor said: "CruiseBritain is a thriving organisation that works to raise the profile of Britain as a cruise destination. Angie has been enormously successful in her work for Liverpool itself and is also a tireless and positive ambassador for Britain."
"The cruise industry has great potential for Britain’s ports, destinations and services; each cruise ship call can bring significant revenue into the port and surrounding area and we are working with both VisitBritain and VisitEngland to increase Britain’s share of the Northern European day call market."
Angie Redhead said: "I am delighted to take on the position of Chair of Cruise Britain at a time when the UK cruise offer is stronger than ever and our potential is at its greatest."
