New date for easyCruise Life debut
The second ship in the easyCruise fleet has had its delayed maiden cruise confirmed for May 17 from Piraeus in Greece.
Work to refurbish easyCruise Life has resumed following serious industrial action affected shipyard workers in Greece over the past few months.
“Progress is now being made again and the decision has been taken to set the first sailing for the 17th of May 2008,†the company said.
“EasyCruise has apologized to all its customers and has offered generous compensation packages including full refunds and free future cruises.â€
Passengers scheduled to join the vessel before the re-organised first cruise are being offered a guided tour on board with dinner, and possible overnight accommodation in port, before departing for their alternative holiday options.
