New fare structure for Royal Jordanian
Royal Jordanian Airlines (RJ) has introduced a new published fare structure from Australia to the Middle East and Europe, replacing the previous net fare system offered through consolidators.
The airline, a member of the oneworld airline alliance, flies to its hub in Amman, Jordan, from three Asian cities, with connections from Australia on a range of partner carriers.
Effective immediately, Royal Jordanian’s return fares to the Middle East are priced from $1,653 in Economy Class and $5,912 in Business Class, while fares to Europe start at $1,832 for Economy Class and $6,528 in Business Class.
The new fares are available through GDS systems, and attract a nine percent commission at point of sale in Australia.
Prices quoted include taxes, correct at September 16, 2011.
Royal Jordanian flies to Amman daily from Bangkok, four times weekly from Hong Kong and three times weekly from Kuala Lumpur.
Beyond Amman, the airline offers connections to 23 Middle Eastern destinations and 19 points in Europe.
To join Royal Jordanian flights from Bangkok, connections are available from Australia with fellow oneworld carriers Qantas, British Airways and Cathay Pacific, while Qantas and Cathay also offer connections via Hong Kong.
Additional route options are available with Thai Airways via Bangkok and new oneworld member Malaysia Airlines, flying via Kuala Lumpur.
