New Greek destination for Monarch

Sunday, 12 Jan, 2009 0

Monarch claims it will become the first UK airline to fly to the Greek city of Volos this summer.

However, Sunvil has been operating a charter flight to Volos since Summer 2000.

The new Monarch charters will depart from Gatwick and Manchester on Fridays between May 15 and October 9.

Fares start at £239 return, including taxes and charges.

Volos, the third largest port in Greece, is situated on the northern shores of the Pagasitikos Gulf, offering access to the Pelion Peninsula and the Sporades.
