New marketing boss for Cendant TDS
Carla Raffo has joined Cendant Travel Distribution Services as new UK-based chief marketing officer for international markets B2B.
She was previously interim chief marketing officer for Gartner and has held senior marketing roles at Oracle, PictureTel and Wang.
Reporting to international markets’ CEO Gordon Wilson, Raffo has responsibility for the creation and delivery of the “product and marketing vision and strategies” for all Cendant TDS product lines and channels (leisure, corporate, supplier) in the business-to-business arena.
Reporting into the newly created position are Alison Bell, vice president, leisure channel; Jamie Cole, vice president, supplier channel; Kurt Knackstedt, vice president, corporate channel; Patsy Gettini, vice president, enterprise product management and Anouche Smith-Gooden, Gullivers Travel Associates product management.
Cendant plans to recruit pricing director who will also report to Raffo.
Wilson said: “We are delighted Carla is joining our team and she brings with her a wealth of very relevant experience. In particular, she has a proven track record of moving organisations from a product-centric positioning to one focused on value solutions. I believe she will be a great asset to our business.”
