New meeting package takes cue from planners
InterContinental Hotels & Resorts says it is taking a cue from meeting professionals by launching a new “European meetings Package” now available at 24 hotels across Europe.
“The new package combines the top three meetings services most requested by meeting planners in one simple offer. Benefits include complimentary access for one in ten delegates; complimentary WiFi in meeting rooms for all delegates; and a complimentary 30-minute welcome cocktail reception,” the company says.
The “European Meetings Package” is valid for new meeting requests only held between November 1, 2010 and March 31, 2011 at participating InterContinental hotels across Europe.
The package consists of a Standardized Day Delegate Package including (in addition to the complimentary main benefits listed above):
• Main meeting room reservation
• Complimentary and unlimited conference refreshments
• Two coffee breaks with light snacks
• Lunch
• One LCD projector with screen
• Free Internet access for meeting planners in the main meeting room
“As the value of the dollar versus the Euro and the Sterling increases, InterContinental Hotels & Resorts want to offer American meeting planners an inclusive, accommodating package that suits their needs,” said Trevor Owen, Vice President Commercial Europe, InterContinental Hotels Group. He added:
“By offering US meeting professionals the three most requested meetings services in one simple value-added package available across the continent’s prime locations such as London, Paris and Athens, it is clear there has never been a better time to book a meeting in Europe.”
The “European Meetings Package” is available for new group bookings consisting of a minimum of ten guestrooms for a minimum of one night and a meeting room to accommodate the number of delegates (subject to availability).
