New members join supplier group

Four new members have joined the Truly Independent Professional Travel Organisation for 2009/10 as the marketing consortium enters its 11th year.

Cadogan Holidays, Page & Moy, Port Aventura and Sandals Resorts operated by Funway Holidays bring the membership up to 15.

 
Year 11 activity is due to kick off next week (September 3) with the first of TIPTO’s agent roadshows.

Chairman Graham Balmforth (Superbreak) said: “This is an exciting year for TIPTO with a number of important innovations planned, and I am delighted to welcome our four new members to be a part of it.

“The difficult economic conditions have been well documented but the continuing presence and activities of TIPTO underline our members’ faith in independent travel agents.”

The TIPTO membership now consists of Bourne Leisure, Brittany Ferries, Cadogan Holidays, Fred.Olsen Cruise Lines, Hoseasons Holidays, Hurtigruten, Insight Vacations & Trafalgar Tours, Kuoni, Leger Holidays, Olympic Holidays, Page & Moy, Port Aventura, Sandals Resorts operated by Funway Holidays, Superbreak Mini-Holidays and Wendy Wu Tours.
