New on-line demo for Power AgentNet
Vacation.com enhanced its www.joinvacation.com Web site with the addition of an on-line demo for Power AgentNet, it’s newest agency desktop platform featuring a booking engine for member agency Web sites. “It’s a perfect way for travel agents who are considering membership in Vacation.com to sample some of the technology that sets Vacation.com apart from all other organizations,” said Dick Knodt, president and CEO of Vacation.com Power AgentNet is a booking engine for the individual agency Web site plus an integrated reservation system providing sales efficiencies and dynamic packaging through the travel agency’s desktop. Subscribing member agents access the desktop through AgentNet. “Power AgentNet is a complete technological platform that agencies can use to run their entire Web business,” said Mr Knodt. “Our members now have the tools to fully compete on the same level as the Internet mega-sites by selling Preferred Supplier products directly through their own agency Web sites,” he added. The demo site is available at www.joinvacation.com/poweragentnet. Current Vacation.com members can also access the site through the AgentNet members-only communications portal. Vacation.com is a travel services marketing company serving a network of more than 7,000 travel agency locations across the U.S. and Canada.
