New Regent ship to make US debut in Miami
Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ latest ship, the 750-passenger Seven Seas Explorer will make its US debut on December 2, 2016 when it homeports in Miami.
Prior to that, it will operate a series of 10 Mediterranean cruises before embarking on a 16-night trans-Atlantic crossing from Rome to Miami.
Once in Miami it will sail a 14-night ‘Serene Islands’ cruise leaving December 4, 2016, followed by a 10-night ‘Caribbean Dawn’ cruise departing on December 18.
"Seven Seas Explorer has been a labor of love for our CEO, Frank Del Rio, Executive Vice President of Vessel Operations, Robin Lindsay, and the entire Regent Seven Seas Cruises team, so it’s exciting to have this ship, the most luxurious ship ever built, make its North American debut in our hometown of Miami," said Regent COO Jason Montague.
The Explorer features 375 suites with the largest verandas in the cruise industry, Regent says.
It will have a French gourmet restaurant named Chartreuse, the line’s signature steakhouse, Prime 7 and a as yet unnamed third specialty restaurant onboard.
