New tour product launched by Advantage

Monday, 12 May, 2018 0

Advantage Travel Partnership has launched a search tool to a make it easier for members and their customers to find tours worldwide.

Advantage Tour Finder aggregates more than 10,000 tours provided by all Advantage partners and provides detailed tour information, itineraries and pricing. Search can be by tour type, duration, cost, destination and operator.

Designed and powered byTourHound, Advantage members will have exclusive use of the search tool from the end of May, but only for a limited period, after which it will be made more widely available.

Access to members will be free via the Advantage intranet site, but agents will also have the option to place a white label platform on their own websites or Facebook pages, allowing customers to carry out the search themselves. There will be a ‘small’ monthly fee for the white label product, said head of commercial John Sullivan, but this has not been disclosed.

Advantage Tour Finder is mobile, tablet and desktop compatible and analytics will also be available to help track trends, based on searches and responses.

Sullivan said: "We are incredibly excited to give our members, for the first time, a search tool suitable for Facebook that also backlinks to members’ websites.

"Working closely with TourHound, Advantage Tour Finder has been designed for travel agents who do not have a large technology development budget but do want an intelligent and easy to use platform that can be built and installed within a few hours."
