New tourism minister confirmed
Northampton North MP Michael Ellis has been confirmed as the parliamentary under secretary responsible for tourism as part of Prime Minister Theresa May’s government reshuffle.
He replaces John Glen at the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, which has responsibility for tourism issues as well as the arts, museums, digital culture, heritage and public libraries.
Glen was moved to the role of City minister by Mrs May after he’d spent just six months at the DCMS.
