New trade sales manager for Western and Oriental
Western and Oriental Travel has appointed Karen Kundi as trade sales manager.
She replaces Nigel Ham, who left in July.
Kundi was previously with Norwegian Cruise Line and before that with Hurtigruten.
At Western and Oriental, she will have overall responsibility for the group’s relationship with the travel trade, covering all of its brands including Regent Holidays, Rainbow Tours and Villa Select.
"She will be the frequent interface between all sales and product staff in the group’s offices based in London and Bristol, as well as visiting travel agents up and down the country," said the group.
Kundi will report to Matthew Rushbrooke, general manager for Western and Oriental and Rainbow Tours, as well as Andrea Godfrey, general manager of Regent Holidays.
Western and Oriental Travel CEO Raj Kumar said: "We have a great deal planned for our business development in this area over the next year, with a new dedicated trade website and training programme due to be launched in the next few months, as well as a string of bespoke agent incentives and familiarisation trips planned."
