New twist on tours

Monday, 12 May, 2005 0

For cruisers tired of ordinary bus tours, Crystal Cruises says it has come up with something a little more alluring. How about touring Halifax by Hummer?

Or seeing the skyline of cities via a helicopter?

Altogether, Crystal Adventures has 72 tour offerings, 33 of which are new ones that include a trip to Boston’s Fenway Park, a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge and a look at the bar where television produced “Cheers.”

“Well traveled people are eager for shore side enrichment that is fresh, intriguing and fun,” said John Stoll, Crystal’s director of land programs.

Crystal is also offering “Wine & Food Festival” cruises this fall.
