New UK head for Amercian Express Global Business Travel
American Express Global Business Travel has appointed Jason Geall as vice president and general manager for the UK.
He replaces Champa Magesh, who left the company earlier this year and now works at Amadeus as MD for UK and Ireland.
Gaell will be responsible for GBT’s growth and development across the UK, reporting to Elyes Mrad, MD of EMEA.
He was previously CEO at digital student community organisation the Student Room Group and before that was chief marketing officer and later EMEA MD at GetThere.
"Jason has demonstrated experience in driving effective growth and has proven himself as a successful leader across a number of industries – including corporate travel," said Mrad.
"In addition, as American Express Global Business Travel looks to further invest in our digital and mobile strategy, Jason’s experience in digital services makes him a valuable addition to our EMEA leadership team."
