New UK travel site set up
A new website has been developed to help people plan UK breaks.
SomewhereToGo.co.uk has been set up by brothers David and Brian Smallwood, formerly involved in programming and PC support for Boots.
The interactive online service includes information on hotels, bed and breakfast accommodation, holiday cootages and parks, tourist attractions, restaurants, theatres and cinemas.
David Smallwood said: “We came up with the idea of SomewhereToGo after planning a weekend away with my wife and two children.
“I couldn’t find a website that dealt with local accommodation and attractions in one place so I decided to create SomewhereToGo with my twin brother.
“Between us we had the design and programming skills to develop a user-friendly site to help web tourists explore their destination before even stepping out of the door.”
