New website takes planning golf outings online
Planning a golf outing for a corporate event has gotten easier with the launch of Golf RFP, a website that allows meeting planners to connect with several golf courses at once through a simple bidding process.
"If you have been tasked with finding a golf course and planning a golf event, there’s not an easier way to start the course selection process than by using Golf RFP," said founder Gary Lorfano. The free service is the golf industry’s first and only online solution that addresses the group business segment, he said.
The bidding process is free for planners; golf courses pay between $600 and $1,000 to join the network.
In addition to the RFP service, Golf RFP offers pre-event planning, tournament operations, procurement of entertainers and educators, and even private club access in certain markets, those these services do have fees attached.
