New Wyndham brands checking in to Japan
Wyndham is introducing two new brands in Japan.
It is converting two existing hotels to its Wyndham Grand and Wyndham Garden brands in Awashima and Nagaizumi respectively.
The Wyndham Grand Awashima, currently known as the Awashima Hotel, is a Mediterranean-style resort hotel on the island of Awashima.
The Wyndham Garden Nagaizumi has 95 suites in traditional Japanese or contemporary style, and all have kitchenettes.
It is situated close to Mount Ashitaka with views of Numazu City and Suruga Bay.
"These newest openings are indicative of the long-term potential we see in Japan and reinforce Wyndham’s continued commitment to key markets around the globe," said Joon Aun Ooi, Wyndham Asia Pacific president.
