Nineteen killed in Thailand crash
At least 19 people were killed and 22 injured when a lorry collided with an inter-province bus in central Thailand early Tuesday morning.
Another 22 people were injured in the incident that took place in Saraburi province.
The accident occurred when the 18-wheel trailer ran across a traffic island on Mitraphap highway, the Bangkok Post reported.
The double-decker tour bus – which was travelling from Bangkok to Roi Et in the north-east – burst into flames after the collision.
It was not immediately known how many people were on board the bus. A police investigation is under way.
