ABTA says there has been no evidence of swine flu outbreaks in tourist areas of Mexico.
The association advised its members to be vigilant and will issue relevant information from the World Health Organisation, Health Protection Agency and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
Â
“At the moment there are no suggestions that there have been any outbreaks in any tourist areas, and the Foreign Office has not imposed any travel restrictions, and as a result normal booking conditions apply,†ABTA said.
Â
“If customers are concerned about vaccinations or symptoms they should contact a health professional or their GP.â€Â
Â
ABTA pledged to continue monitoring the situation closely.Â
