Nok, Nok. Back at Don Mueang
Low-cost airline Nok Air has resumed flights from Bangkok’s Don Mueang Airport today after last year’s flood forced it to move its operations to Suvarnabhumi Airport.
Chief executive Patee Sarasin said Nok Air expected to see five million passengers this year, up from four million last year.
At Suvarnabhumi, the airline faced limited facilities such as a lack of check-in counters and shuttle buses.
The result was long check-in queues for passengers and some flight delays, Patee said.
Patee said the company is keen to start regional flights, but needed more time to study the best options.
