Nominations open for the Global Youth Travel Awards

Entries for the Global Youth Travel Awards (GYTAs) 2014 – which recognise outstanding performers serving the youth, student and educational travel field – are open.

Categories for the awards, which are now in their fourth year, include:

* App Yap
* Best B2B Tech Product
* Best Work Experience
* Extraordinary Experience
* Green Accommodation Initiative
* Innovation in Marketing
* Outstanding Volunteer Project
* Social Responsibility.

This year’s awards have been expanded to include four new categories:

* Best Youth Destination
* Best Airline for Youth
* Best Youth Accommodation
* Best Youth Travel Provider.

The 2014 awards are sponsored by Else, an app that helps individuals find like-minded travellers.

This year’s awards ceremony will bring the World Youth and Student Travel Conference 2014 (WYSTC) to a close in Dublin on Friday, September 26.
