Northwest, Farelogix sign distribution deal
Northwest Airlines and Farelogix announced an agreement that allows users of the distribution company to have direct access to the airlines’ full content.
The agreement builds Northwest’s strategy to broaden its distribution options. It also provides travel agents and corporate accounts with more flexibility, the airline says.
Said Al Lenza, vice president, Northwest Airlines:
“Our strategy is to offer travel agents and corporate accounts access to our products through the most economical channels, using a variety of distribution technologies.”
Jim Davidson, president and CEO of Farelogix,, said the agreement allows the company to build out its FLX Platform among the world’s leading airlines.
Northwest Airlines is the world’s fifth largest with hubs in Detroit and other areas.
Farelogix provides lower-cost, multi source distribution and independent faring technology to the global travel industry.
