Norway finally reopens for all
Norway’s border is now open to all visitors from around the world for the first-time since early-2020.
Now travellers from outside the EU are free to visit Norway without a 10-day quarantine period.
It is a positive step and a literal shot in the arm for the Norwegian travel industry.
With international guests now finally able to visit again, acting director for Visit Norway, Audun Pettersen, is excited about the border re-opening:
"We have waited so long for this day to come, and we have really missed our visitors from around the world. Finally, people can start to plan their travel to Norway again. This means so much to the entire industry."
Travellers will still need to test and register upon arrival.
People who arrive without documentation, such as a Covid certificate, full vaccination or proof of having had Covid-19, will need to present a negative test-result taken before arriving in Norway.
