Novotel Ningaloo Resort wins "Best Resort Style Accommodation"

Novotel Ningaloo Resort at Exmouth on Western Australia’s Coral Coast has once again taken out a prestigious award – this time for “Best Resort Style Accommodation” – at the “AHA National Hotel Awards for Excellence” held last week in Sydney.

The resort is located on Sunrise Beach in Exmouth Gulf, providing a luxury base for visitors to the world-renowned Ningaloo Marine Park and Cape Range National Park. It has been built to a contemporary beach house design, sympathetic to its surrounding environment, and using natural materials.

The rooms are state-of-the-art, and boast slick décor with a user-friendly layout, and there are good recreational facilities including a large pool and gym. Mantaray’s Restaurant serves up some of the best cuisine in town in an open air and part alfresco setting, although it is hard to beat the simple pleasure of sitting on the deck at the bar, taking in the sea views.

“It is an honour to win this award in a very competitive environment, with so many new resorts being built, but our stunning location and attention to detail for all guests’ comforts were paramount from design to build stage,” Darren Cossill, general manager said [pictured above with Gary Cossill].

“We pride ourselves on offering the best accommodation in one of the world class, pristine marine parks. We always minimise our impact where possible, to ensure sustainability of tourism in this fragile and precious region. I congratulate all our teams who have contributed so greatly to this award win,” he added.
