Novotle Rotorua welcomes colour like no other
The guys at Novotel Rotorua ask us to imagine tuning all the channels on 199 televisions, almost at once?
It is often hard enough just tuning one television set!
Last week technicians and maintenance staff at the Novotel Rotorua Lakeside hotel successfully accomplished this task during the installation of the hotel’s new LCD colour televisions last week.
Guests at the Novotel Rotorua Lakeside hotel can now relax with all the amenities of home, and more, following the installation of the 32 inch hi-definition Bravia televisions in all the rooms.
According to the hotel’s Director of Sales and Marketing, Andrea Richards, “We’ve had guests commenting when they check out how much they’re enjoying the quality of the televisions in their roomsâ€.
The purchase and installation represented a significant investment for the hotel. “It is important to keep our amenities modern and in keeping with our guests’ expectationsâ€, adds Andrea.
The old televisions will initially be offered at a discounted rate to staff and the balance will be sold through a local auction house.
With Rydges North Sydney giving their old TV’s to guests and the Kiwis in Rotorua selling them at discounted rates and at an auction house………….any more bids about what to do with old hotel TV’s?
