NTL repackages Traveleye

X-TANT, the company behind Traveleye is re-branding as NTL Business (Travel Division).

NTL Business (Travel Division), which launched today, offers four product portfolios: the existing selling and reservations system, Traveleye, a telephone solutions package called Traveltalk, an internet package called Travelconnect, and a call centre solutions package called Travelcontact.

The communications services have been available to NTL customers in the past, but have been re-branded into the four categories, in order to be marketed in a straight-forward format to the travel industry.

NTL Business’ enterprise sector managing director, David Osborne told TravelMole: “X-TANT focussed on Traveleye. What we are launching today has a broader perspective. The key benefit for agents is that they can simplify their requirements with a single supplier, and benefit from economies of scale by using one supplier for their internet, telephone and call centre requirements, in addition to using Traveleye”.

Mr Osborne, who was once general manager at Galileo UK, said that NTL Business (Travel Division) had three Traveleye customers signed up for the new communications packages, but could not yet reveal who they were.

NTL Business’ travel and retail head of marketing, Jill Cox, who was also at Galileo UK, as head of marketing, said the company would be announcing some some interesting changes to Traveleye later in the year, regarding content and partnerships.
