NYC unveils Bronx’s hidden treasures
New York City has expanded its campaign to encourage people to visit all five boroughs.
NYC & Company, the city’s official marketing, tourism and partnership organisation, launched the next instalment of its ‘Neighborhood x Neighborhood initiative’ at World Travel Market.
It is spotlighting two of the Bronx’s most vibrant areas: Arthur Avenue and Fordham Road.
CEO George Fertitta said: "With notable retail shops, authentic Italian dining and some of the city’s most prominent cultural institutions all within walking distance, Arthur Avenue and Fordham Road in the Bronx make for a perfect afternoon exploring New York City.
"We are pleased to be highlighting these Bronx neighbourhoods this week in the UK during WTM."
