Oakwood plans 100 China properties
Oakwood had inked a strategic agreement to introduce up to 100 new properties across China.
It teamed up with Country Garden Commercial and Culture Tourism Group to introduce new brand Oakwood Beluxs.
It will be a lifestyle serviced apartment brand.
It plans to open properties in all of China’s top 50 cities by 2030.
"Since our debut in China twenty years ago, we have identified an opportunity to augment our brand portfolio with a product that serves the emergence of a new guest profile. We are honoured to have support from Country Garden Commercial and Culture Tourism Group in co-creating Oakwood Beluxs," said Dean Schreiber, Oakwood CEO.
He said the first phase of openings will be focused on southern China.
Oakwood’s portfolio features several serviced apartment and hotel brands across Asia, Australia, the US and in the UK.
