Oasis upgrades its business class
HONG KONG – Oasis Hong Kong Airlines is to upgrade its business class offer by the middle of next month.
The Hong Kong low-cost, long-haul carrier will feature what it says is “restaurant quality” service, with meals brought to passengers one at a time, a dessert trolley with individual portions rather than pre-plated options, plus an amenity kit and new cutlery, crockery and glass ware.
In addition, Oasis will improve its in-flight film entertainment with six new movies per month, while noise cancellation headsets and heavier, fleece blankets.
“This is our first service upgrade in the year since our launch,” said Oasis CEO Stephen Miller.
“These changes will really enhance the look and feel of Oasis on board and further convince our passengers that they can receive a comparable service on Oasis to that of other major carriers, but at a much lower price.”
The airline has recently taken delivery of another Boeing 747-400, bringing its fleet to five and allowing three extra services per week from London Gatwick to Hong Kong on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
Oasis also serves Vancouver five-times weekly from Hong Kong.
