Ocean Village unveils new sailings
Details of new Ocean Village Caribbean sailings from Jamaica feature in a new brochure which goes on sale this month.
The original Ocean Village ship will make its inaugural journey to Montego Bay in November to start two 14-night itineraries.
Ports of call include the Caribbean islands, Mexico’s Yucatan peninsula and South and Central America. Prices start at £1,189 per person.
Ocean Village Two will operate two itineraries from Barbados this winter with calls including Grenada, St Lucia, and Dominica. Prices start at £849 for seven nights or £1,242 for a 14 nights.
Four Mediterranean fly/cruise itineraries are on offer from May 2008.
Ocean Village Two runs two new itineraries in the Western Med. The ‘Tapas and Togas’ voyage calls at Tunis, Rome, Genoa, Monte Carlo and Barcelona with a lead-in of £599.
The ‘Villas & Vino’ itinerary sails from Palma to Tunis, Naples, Florence/Pisa, St Raphael, and Ajaccio (Corsica) with prices starting at £639.
The first Ocean Village ship will cover the Eastern Med from Crete with two seven-night sailings. The ‘Temples and Tavernas’ and ‘Olives and Ouzo’ itineraries call at destinations including, Cephalonia, Santorini and Mykenos with prices starting at £599.
An Ocean Village Two virtual tour has been added to the company’s website, including 360-degree ship images. An Ocean Village webcam is also live at http://www.oceanvillageholidays.co.uk/.
The July 2007-October 2008 first edition brochure goes on sale on July 16.
Head of marketing communications Gill Haynes said: “The new brochure maps a very exciting year ahead for us, with our original ship moving to a brand new base in Montego Bay and Ocean Village Two sailing to Barbados for the very first time, new transatlantic cruises, and confirmation of our four wide reaching 2008 Mediterranean itineraries.”
