Octopus email voucher saves time and money
Agents are now able to email vouchers to customers, rather than print and post, as part of a major site overhaul undertaken by online travel company OctopusTravel.com.
Vouchers can now be emailed directly to clients as a PDF from the booking basket screen, saving agents time and money.
The new email voucher is part of a series of features recently introduced to the site, including a new hotel search facility, new change your search options and filters, as well as useful links to apartments and travel guides relevant to the chosen destination.
OctopusTravel.com national sales manager Louise Turner says the changes have been introduced in response to agent demand.
“We work closely with agents and know this is something that was in high-demand, so we’re pleased to be able to introduce the feature as part of the major site overhaul,” Ms Turner said.
“Being able to email vouchers rather than print and post them will save time and hassle, and they look more professional than the printed version” she said.
“Already we’ve received positive feedback to the changes that have been introduced, and this latest addition will make bookings even easier for agents.”
