O’Hare: voted worst again

Saturday, 08 Feb, 2005 0

So what’s the worst US airport for delays?

No surprise: O’Hare, says the federal Bureau of Transportation Statistics.

The Bureau analyzed data for 31 airports, finding that nearly 30% of all flights either arrived or departed late in 2004 in Chicago’s O’Hare.

The delays came during the airport’s busiest year, according to news reports.

The airport with the fewest number of airport delays?

Houston Bush Intercontinental led the nation in departures, with 87.2% of its flights leaving on time in 2004. For arrivals, Denver barely eclipsed Charlotte for the top mark.
