On the Beach recruits IT chief

Online travel agency On the Beach has recruited Moneysupermarket.com IT director Jonathan Smith as chief technology officer.
He will be responsible for all aspects of IT systems, design, management and support.
Smith will build an in-house IT development team and IT service management system to support the company’s expansion plans.
CEO Simon Cooper said: “Jonathan’s talent and ambition will no doubt help us attain our goal to create a world class technology platform from which On the Beach can deliver its fantastic potential.”
