One program, four travel experiences, three travel styles, over 50 itineraries and more than 45 years experience!

Contiki Holidays last night launched its 08/09 European touring program offering four types of travel experiences: –

** Multi-country trips;

** In-depth Regional trips;

** Special Interest trips; and

Winter trips!

Then there’s three travel styles to choose from: –

** Camping;

** Concept; and

** Time Out!

That’s over 50 itineraries all in one brochure for the first time.

The 2008 product range boasts new itineraries, like the 23-day Camping tour, London to Croatia with seven-nights island sailing, the introduction of Sicily, more Greek Island cruise options and a broad selection of all-new Time Out Russia and Scandinavia trips.

Other major changes include an increased range of Special Interest tours which are one-off itineraries timed to coincide with Europe’s bustling social calendar.

Tammy Marshall, managing director, Contiki Holidays said at the launch last night, “We continue to increase our product depth and breadth, by listening to our customers’ feedback, keeping an eye on travel trends, pushing the boundaries and staying on the pulse of what’s hot in Europe in order to continue leading the market.”

“We have combined our Concept and Time Out programs this year into one brochure to offer consultants a one-stop-shop.”

“No matter what clients are looking for, from pitching a tent to living it up in a four-star resort, there is a tour to suit everyone – and they’re all in one easy to read and navigate brochure.”

“The program has been broadened to include Sicily, which builds on our extensive In-depth Regional product range as well as the introduction of three Russia and Scandinavia tours into our ‘Time Out’ hotels program, highlighting this Baltic region, which we predict will be a huge seller with adventurous young Australian travellers.”

“Based on travel trends we have observed over our last season in Europe, the other hot regions for 18 to 35s are Greece and Eastern Europe.”

“In response to the demand in 06 and 07 we have increased our Greek Island hopping options, providing consultants with the ability to offer more tailored options to their clients.”

“Offering great value add-ons, like Greek Island cruising, also offers consultants the opportunity to increase the value of the sale with ease.”

“Eastern Europe has been so popular we have had to increase tour departures to keep up with demand.”  “The introduction of our London to Croatia Camping tour responds to this growth offering a fantastic new itinerary highlighting Paris, Amsterdam, Prague, Vienna, Budapest, Belgrade, Sarajevo and Dubrovnik.”

“This trip has been specially planned to package with an optional seven-day Croatian island hopping cruise which can be added to the itinerary post tour.”

“We predict this new tour will really appeal to the 18 to 35 set.”

Contiki’s 08 09 Europe brochures are on travel shelves now!
