Online event guide added by ferry firm

Stena Line has added a guide to events in Holland and Germany to its website to support its Harwich-Hook of Holland route.

The continually updated guide offers information on events, tourist destinations and route information.

Stena believes the guide enables agents to offer a “valued added” service to customers and help earn more commission.

Online marketing executive Anna Holmgren said: “We recognise it’s difficult for agents to experience the tue beauty and wealth of activities in Holland and Germany, which is why we chose to produce this online guide.

“We’re predicting this project will help agents to build their own repeat business and earn commission from Stena Line as they’ll essentially be offering ‘live’ and very relevant information to the customer.”

The guide, available on the Harwich section of www.stenaline.co.uk has been produced with digital travel publisher WhatsOnWhen.
