ONYX Hospitality expanding Shama Brand
ONYX Hospitality Group is expanding its serviced apartment brand, Shama across Asia.
It has plans to open five new properties in Greater China, Malaysia and Thailand.
The company sees increasing demand for serviced apartments and aims to meet this with two in China including Hong Kong, two in Malaysia, and one in Thailand.
Opening dates are set for 2024.
Shama brand offers serviced apartments with a balance of luxury and practicality for both short and extended stays.
It is expanding the brand to cater to business travellers, Bleisure tourists, and leisure visitors seeking flexible accommodations.
The new properties include Shama Hub Metro South Hong Kong, Shama Medini Malaysia, and Shama Suasana Johor Bahru.
ONYX Hospitality Group currently operates 16 Shama locations, including six in Thailand, six in Hong Kong, and four in China.
