ONYX to debut OZO brand in Vietnam

Tuesday, 14 Oct, 2015 0
Thai based ONYX Hospitality will debut in Vietnam in late 2016 with the signing of the 364-room OZO Hoi An.

ONYX has signed an agreement with HB Group to manage the beachfront resort which forms part of a retail complex, dining and entertainment village.

Resort facilities will include a signature EAT all-day dining restaurant, a fitness centre and meeting space.

"Vietnam is one of the region’s fastest growing travel destinations, and we are excited to have OZO Hoi An as part of our continuing expansion plans," said Peter Henley, CEO of ONYX.

"We have identified a gap in the market for a select service hotel like OZO. We look forward to collaborating with HB Group in introducing our unique OZO brand concept to Vietnam."

Established in 2013, the OZO brand currently has five hotels in Hong Kong, Pattaya and Koh Samui, in Thailand, and Colombo and Kandy in Sri Lanka.

Several other hotels are in the development stage including Penang and Iskandar in Malaysia and Xiamen, China.
