OpenSkies Offers Transatlantic Value and Comfort

Tuesday, 11 Nov, 2008 0

While most business class fares remain out of reach for many travelers between New York and Paris or Amsterdam, OpenSkies will offer BIZ fares starting from $1050 one way for New York-Amsterdam and $1100 one way for New York-Paris based on round trip purchase. Additionally, OpenSkies will offer PREM+ fares starting from $550 one way for New York-Amsterdam and $600 one wayfor New York-Paris, also based on round trip purchase.  These exclusive fares will be available until November 21st.

“There’s no debate when it comes to transatlantic travel – it’s never worth sacrificing comfort for price,” said Dale Moss, managing director of OpenSkies.  “Elections may be tough, but choosing the right fare to Europe is easy with OpenSkies.  In challenging economic times, we’re pleased to offer quality, comfort, service and real value – from the only true lie-flat seats on our routes to a compelling and price-conscious product in PREM+.”

With the only 180 degree lie-flat beds between New York and Paris or Amsterdam, as well as private lounge access and separate check-in, OpenSkies’ BIZ class offers an unsurpassed travel experience for customers crossing the Atlantic.  In addition, PREM+ is a new service category offering business class comfort without the business class price, featuring wide leather seats with a 140 degree recline and 52 inches of legroom. With its cost-efficient fares, PREM+ also qualifies for use by business travelers whose corporate travel policies would otherwise restrict business class travel.

Along with space, comfort and attentive personal service in its BIZ and PREM+ cabins, OpenSkies offers unique, customer-friendly features such as
Professional concierge services that provide passengers with a premium travel experience from the moment they book their flight through the end of their trip
and participation in British Airways’ Executive Club frequent flyer program.

Tickets are available for purchase through the OpenSkies Web site (www.flyopenskies.com), the OpenSkies Concierge Desk at 1-866-581-3596 in the U.S., travel agents and all British Airways channels including the BA.com Web site.

Must book by November 21, 2008 for travel between November 20, 2008 and completed by March 31, 2009. 14-day advance purchase required. Fares include fuel surcharge but do not include government taxes and fees of approximately $146 for Paris-New York or $151 for Amsterdam-New York. BIZ fare is non-refundable; changes are permitted for a fee of $500.  All fares are subject to availability.  Seats are limited. Other significant restrictions may apply.
