Operator targets trade for first time

Specialist operator Mistral Holidays is offering lead-in commission of 12.5% as it seeks trade distribution for the first time.

A programme of holidays by air to Italy is the operator’s first venture into the trade.

This will be followed by the remainder of its product range – including a Christmas Collection, Coaching Holidays to Europe and US city breaks – over the coming months.

Mistral has negotiated racking deals with several independent consortia and is keen to talk to others.

An agents’ familiarisation trip to Italy in spring 2010 is also planned.

Sales manager Richard Forde said: “We’re confident that agents will find that the combination of our tailored itineraries and added-value options give them some unique holiday ideas for their clients.”

Three-night Rome city breaks this summer including flights, transfers, four-star hotel accommodation with breakfasts and a two-hour free bar each evening start at £329 per person.
