Orion Expedition Cruises releases 2008 brochure
Orion’s new 24 page colour brochure featuring expansive colour spreads of key destinations, guest experiences and life onboard is being released this week.

Much of the striking photography was taken during this year’s season of voyages which show both ship and guests in-situ in the Kimberley and Arnhem Land, Antarctic, Papua New Guinea and Melanesia. The 2008 season includes, for the first time, details of Orion’s new voyages of Discovery to New Zealand.
In addition to spreads on each major region visited, the 2008 brochure contains useful information for potential travellers with a detailed deck plan of the ship and 5 star facilities, range of guest accommodation (with floor plans from Staterooms to Owner’s Suites) and examples of the onboard comforts such as boutique, massage, elevator and lounges – and Serge Dansereau inspired cuisine.
For the technically minded there is comprehensive information on Orion’s specifications including details on size, speed, tonnage, ice class hull construction and oversized stabilisers.
Included with this year’s colour brochure is a very useful 24 page lift-out booklet featuring in-depth itinerary details by destination, 2008 pricing (including Early Booking Rewards) and a convenient Calendar of Sailings displaying all expeditions throughout 2008 and early 2009, including Antarctic, PNG, Melanesia and New Zealand, as well as one-off expeditions such as Auckland to Rabaul.
With limited Early Booking Rewards of up to 15% now available (20% for past- passengers) off all levels of accommodation, this is the perfect reference for those planning to join Orion during 2008.
