Ovation Global DMC and The DMC Network have today announced a global alliance which will offer customers best-in-class DMC delivery at over 60 key locations across the US, Canada, continental Europe and the Gulf States of the Middle East.
Customers of each organisation will now be offered the same flawless delivery for meetings, incentives, conferences and events on both sides of the Atlantic through a network of partners from Boston to Barcelona and from Vancouver to Vienna.
Destination Management Companies (DMCs) are specialist service organisations offering unique local knowledge, expertise, creativity and, above all, contacts in countries all over the world.
Today’s announcement by Ovation Global DMC and The DMC Network creates the world’s largest and most experienced fully aligned destination management organisation.
Commenting on the Alliance Jim Miller, Interim CEO of The DMC Network said “With a 30 year legacy, The DMC Network is the first and oldest alliance of top ranked DMCs in the US and Canada.
This alliance with Ovation Global DMC now offers our customers a value proposition extending beyond the limits of the North American continent to new and vibrant destinations in Europe, Arabia and beyond”.
Managing Director of Ovation Global DMC, and current international president of the Society of Incentive & Travel Executives, Pádraic Gilligan added “Ovation helps its corporate and institutional customers to achieve their objectives by connecting people and places and making it happen.
Through our alliance with The DMC Network our customers, who are typically European corporations and associations, can now experience seamless destination delivery all over the US and Canada”.
Both Ovation Global DMC and The DMC Network have robust sales and marketing plans involving key trade show marketing, direct mail, electronic and web marketing, face to face sales, educational and familiarisation trips and customer events. The Sales and Marketing Alliance will facilitate the reciprocal promotion of each organisation’s locations, opening up new destination experiences to all customers.
