Palace reopening Wilma-damaged properties
Palace Resorts reported that four of its all-inclusive resorts in Cancun and the Riviera Maya will be reopened before Christmas.
The properties were damaged during Hurricane Wilma.
The company said remaining Palace Resorts’ properties in the region impacted by the storm are expected to reopen in February.
Adventura Spa Palace in the Riviera Maya region of Mexico had only minor damage. The property is normally adults-only but children will be allowed through next January to accommodate guests with prior reservations.
The Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort is set to reopen 20 December with 1,500 rooms. Some of the rooms will be refurbished, the company said.
Palace Resorts has six all-inclusive properties in Cancun and the Riviera Maya.
