Panorama and Manos to be relocated to Rochdale
MyTravel has announced plans to close down the Brighton offices of Panorama and Manos and relocate the brands to its Rochdale headquarters.
The management functions of Direct Holidays are also to move from Glasgow although the operator’s call centre will remain in the city.
MyTravel has entered into a 90-day consultation with all staff affected but claims there will be opportunities for homeworking and relocation.
“Crucial to the success of the reorganisation will be retaining the skills and experience of the Direct Holidays and Panorama workforce,” said a MyTravel statement.
“In keeping with this, opportunities will be made available to affected employees through home working, relocation, and the expansion of the Glasgow call centre.
“This proposed reorganisation retains the strong brand identities and loyal individual customer bases that have been developed over the years.”
MyTravel refused to confirm how many people were affected but there are believed to be around 200 people based in Brighton working for Panorama.
