Park Hotel Group expanding footprint to Australia
Park Hotel Group has expanded its Asia Pacific reach further with the signing of its first hotel in Australia.
The group will debut the Park Hotel Adelaide from 2018 after signing a management agreement with Pirie Investments.
The 250-room new build hotel will be located centrally in Adelaide, about a 20-minute drive from Adelaide International Airport.
"Park Hotel Adelaide marks a significant milestone for Park Hotel Group. We have been looking to expand into Australia for a while and this collaboration presents an exciting opportunity for us to do just that," said Allen Law, chief executive officer of Park Hotel Group.
Increased flight connectivity, a strong event calendar and continued growth of the Chinese and Asian markets would also drive record visitorship. We are optimistic about Adelaide’s tourism prospects," he added.
The hotel will form part of a mixed-use development that will have 280 private residences, and the hotel will feature a swimming pool, fitness centre, bar and cafe.
