Passenger arrested for defecating in Air India cabin
Air India has suffered another mid-flight ‘peegate’ incident which could be the worst yet.
Ram Singh, allegedly drunk, was detained from a Mumbai-Delhi flight for ‘misconduct’ the airline initially said.
He allegedly defecated and urinated on the floor and spat, according to media reports.
His behaviour outraged some passengers.
He was removed from his seat and separated from other passengers until the flight landed.
The pilot radioed ahead to request police assistance.
A case under sections 294 (obscene acts) and 510 (misconduct in public by a drunken person) has been filed.
There has been two previous highly publicised incidents in recent months of Air India passengers urinating in the cabin.
