Passenger jailed for groping flight attendant

A man guilty of groping a flight attendant has been jailed for six months. Enio Socorro Zayas was sentenced this week in US District Court in Florida. The incident happened last August aboard an American Airlines flight 1723, bound for Miami from Cancun.
Zayas pleaded guilty to assault in October. Last year there was a near 500% increase in disruptive passenger incidents which merited an investigation by the FAA.
