Pay-for-click ads to be debated

Friday, 04 Jul, 2005 0

Google, Yahoo! Search, Cheapflights and Adprecision are to feature at a forum on pay-per click advertising.

The TowardEurope event on July 14 in London will investigate strategies for successful search advertising for the travel industry.

Speakers due at the event include Adprecision commercial director Alasdair Cross, Dan Robb from Google, Nick Jones from Yahoo! Search and David Soskin, CEO of Cheapflights.

Adprecision chairman Justin Morshead said: “It is now beginning to be perceived in the travel industry that the distribution chain extends all the way up to the search engine. It’s pretty clear that efficient search engine advertising is absolutely key to those selling travel products on the web.”
