Pegasus expands German client base
Pegasus Solutions claims to have half of Germany’s agents signed up with its hotel commissioning service.
The announcement came after Pegasus signed Hamburg-based TUI Leisure Travel, which has 1,350 locations. Under the three year agreement most of TUI Leisure Travel’s agents will adopt Pegasus Commission Processing to outsource the collection and management of their hotel commissions worldwide.
TUI Leisure Travel head of operations and IT, Christian Feldmann said: “We’ve moved from a manual, time-intensive process to an automated, centralised one. Not only are we receiving more of our commissions because of Pegasus, we are also paid in our local currency of euros, regardless of the hotel’s location”.
Pegasus also provides reporting of hotel reservations, guest stays, cancellations, and no-shows. It’s other German clients include, AC Travel, Lufthansa City Center and STA Travel.
