PegsTour links wholesalers to hotels
Pegasus Solutions Inc. announced PegsTour, which will automate bookings by wholesale travel companies and tour operators with hotel reservation systems. A limited release is now available, and it will be released for general availability in late July, the Dallas-based company said. The company said PegsTour is an innovative service designed to automate bookings by wholesale and tour operators for their allocation-based hotel inventory, as well as extra-to-allocation requests and extra-inventory requests. PegsTour will automate key booking processes by offering an electronic interface for operators and their system providers, among other features. Benefits to hotels include direct processing into a hotel’s central reservation system. Report by David Wilkening
